GSMA’s Consumer SIM technology allows users to securely download SIM profiles to eSIM-capable devices. To support IoT, GSMA has developed SGP.32 IoT eSIM, optimizing remote management for unattended devices. This new standard simplifies manufacturing, distribution, activation, and operation of IoT devices. In 2025, GCF will launch a certification program to ensure secure and reliable remote SIM provisioning for IoT eSIM-capable devices. |
